The North West 200 is Ireland's biggest sporting
event, attracting crowds from all over the world to see one of
the best action packed bike road racing events on the planet!
Speeds have been recorded of over 200 mph.
Attracting more than 140,000 spectators and over
200 competitors, the North West 200 is one of Ireland's most popular
sporting events. Road racing fans coming for the North West 200
can also combine the trip with a number of other events in Ireland
that take place around the same time, such as the Ulster Grand

The event is getting bigger each year and now has
a festival programme which lasts throughout the whole week. As
well as the triangle area where the race takes place (Coleraine,
Portstewart, Portrush), there are events right along the North
Coast including Bikefest in Ballymoney.
